An earlier poster said that she was trying to go from 4 to 2 at Cindy's and was told they would have to make a new ressie and cancel old but that there werent any 2 person tables. She kept the 4. So the rule seems to be if it changes the table size you will need you have to make a new ressie. At Cindys and others that are prepayed or cc guarenteed showing up with less is more of an issue because you will be charged for everyone who doesnt attend. But at other restaurants I have no idea what they will do. You might have to wait longer for a table that fits your party size. One poster reported a big ordeal when the manager noticed they were seated at a bigger table than their size. I have been told I had to wait for the entire party to be present to be seated. I would guess this would keep you from being seated at a larger table than needed .... So as I was saying, if you show with less people you will have to wait for a table your party's size.... maybe even as long as a walk up would since they plan out the tables for everyone. So anyway I would definitely try to reschedule the ressies. and if you really want that time at that restaurant and they cant get you another table then keep the ressie and hope you get a cm willing to work with you rather than make you sorry you showed up with less.
