Question about Cat in the Hat's spinning?

I just have a brief question about the Cat in the Hat, even though I've been on it several times before. I've been reading places that the spinning was turned off in 2014. Which is weird since the I knew they "toned down" the spinning right before Potter opened. The last time I rode Cat in the Hat was April 2011 and it wasn't exactly spinning (we never made a full 180) as much as "turning at a very sharp angle kind of fast." My question is this: Did they turn back on the spinning since I was last there and toned it down again? Or has it been toned down since 2010? I'm just curious because I just stumbled across reports that "It's not spinning anymore!" and I'm just surprised at how recent they were considering the last time I heard about the spinning before tonight was 2010. I know this is a very technical question but does someone know if they did bring back the spinning since I was last there and just got rid of it again? Thanks!

We went in June 2015, it had a couple of moments of spin if I recall but most of it was sharp turns.

it still has some sharp turns but no heavy spinning.
it's kind of like the slow churning on the washing machine now in parts......

yea, I remember the spinning being more "scared it's gonna throw you out of the vehicle" than it is now

In 2012 we rode thirty times in a row, our son LOVES this ride. The spinning was much more at that time, especially the washing machine part of it. We rode this past December and the spinning is much less now. I kind of miss it the way it used to be. It's almost too tame for me and that is saying a lot!

Lol......I said the same thing.......it was too tame now and was told I'm never happy

I think it's too tame now too :( Only up-side for us is that DH can ride it now. He's never done well with "spinny" rides.

Totally agree with all of you

I could take a quick snooze on that "slow spin cycle" section
