Hi! For my wedding in October i will be having two guests that are under the age of 3 (one will be approximately 7 months at the time of the wedding, the other a 2.5 year old) and i am trying to figure out how to get them booster/car seats.

For cost reasons between the rehearsal dinner and the wedding itself we will be renting 8 1 way vans and 1 chartered limo (to transport guests from the Wedding Pavillion to the Whitehall Patio). My wedding planner told me that although Disney can provide car seats, because i am doing one way vans/limo, it would be difficult for them to guarantee that the appropriate car seats will be in each vehicle. She suggested that maybe i rent car seats. Has anyone run into this and if so do you know where i can rent just a car seat? Any thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is it not possible for the guests to bring car seats with them?

Both families will be flying in and will not be renting cars so I was hoping to avoid having them lug it all with them. I dont have kids myself but my understanding is that even if they bring the carrier for the 7 month old, in order to be able to use it as a car seat they will need to bring an additional base piece. Worst case they will have to but i was hoping to make this as easy as possible on everyone.

What do they plan to do about getting from the airport to their hotel?

Car seats are not allowed on the magical express. I was doing some searching on the FAQ section of the disney site and they said any car seats would need to be stowed in the luggage area. I think because its a bus the law does not require carseats so they will just sit on their parents lap. But because vans are being rented for the wedding (only 12-16 people will be using it), i think normal laws apply and car seats are mandatory.

sorry I do not have names of sites but I know there are a few that rent baby equipment that might rent car seats. since the 2.5 year old will have a seat on plane if his car seat is one that can be used on plane he could use there and have with would go with carryons under bus. if someone in your party has a car, there are stores not that far where a seat could be bought which could be less that renting

I highly recommed A Baby's Best Friend. They were easy to work with, on time, and everything was in great condition.
