Question about Captain Cook's at Poly

I saw that Captain Cook's at Poly opens at 6:30 for breakfast, according to All Ears. We should have one extra CS meal left on our DDP, and would like to go there for some Tonga Toast. Since it opens early enough, we would go there on a morning we are going to MK for rope drop at 9AM (non-EMH morning).

How is the coffee at Captain Cook's? Do they serve "real" coffee? I know Kona does, but wondering about the CS as well. Or is it the same as the other coffee at all the WDW restaurants?

They sell the regular Nescafe Coffee which is at all the other restaurants and counter service locations.

Thanks...a little disappointing though. They do have a coffee bar in the Poly though that has good coffee right? Anyone know how early it opens?

Never mind, I found it, and it opens at 6:30 AM!! Yippee, will have to try something from there!

Its the same Nescrape as all the other locations...how DH can drink that swill is beyond me...

Yeah, that's probably what I will do. They have the Kona blend I see. It's only $1.99 for the size I normally drink, no big deal since I am sure they don't let you get it as a snack credit on the DDP!

Is the coffee at the character breakfasts the same as at the CS? I did not find it to be bad at H & V or Chef Mickey's breakfasts. It was drinkable, even though not the greatest. But I got my caffeine fix!
