Question about Cali Grill and Wishes

We have 9p.m. dinner res. for Cali Grill on Dec 7th, which I made 90 days out at 4:30 a.m.. It was the best I could get for 2 people. Will they let us up to watch wishes at 8:00 from the balcony or let us into the lounge earlier? That is our arrival day and we are really hopeful that we can view wishes that night.

I am not 100% sure, but I think they will. We had our ADR a few hours before wishes and many CMs kept reminding us we could come back up to see wishes. I assume the same would apply if you had your "ADR" later.

You don't even have to eat there at all to watch the fireworks, so if you want to catch them another nite, just say you are going up for a drink at the bar and to watch the fireworks... or not even a drink at the bar... just the fireworks. We do it all the time, because often we just catch an appetizer in the bar area during the day,the view is so fabulous!

You should have no problem. The view is great there.

They will most likely let you up early, but be aware that there may be NO place to sit. The small bar/lounge area is almost always full anywhere near fireworks time.
