On one of my Facebook groups I saw a guy post videos from his cabins in the 2700 loop. The back of his cabin looked like it was surrounded by swamp. Which cabin loops are like this? I wanna be near the water but prefer not too overgrown or swampy. I have a problem where I whelp up from any bug bite and all bugs love me more than every person on this planet, especially mosquitoes. Just trying to stay away from too much swampy stagnate water where most mosquitoes like to get me from.

Disney World is basically located in a swampy area but in all my years of camping at Fort Wilderness I haven't been bothered by bugs much...and mosquitoes just adore me! And like you, I get big welts.

Last time I was there (in January this year) the Fort CMs were giving out cans of mosquito repellent when I checked in...

The water around the cabins will come and go depending upon how much rain there is in the area. We went for July 4th, and I also get eaten by bugs very badly. We bought a Thermacell repellant system and I had no problems at all. First time staying at the Fort that I had no bites!

Somehow the mosquitoes are not bad at the Fort. I don't know what they use.
Like the pp said, water levels depend on the rainfall. Last time we were there it was dry.
