question about BWV getting std after part booked PRD

Hi I delayed a few weeks in booking Oct 15 thru Nov 5. When called MS could not get the first 2 weeks in total...so MS booked the whole time in preferred and said would put us on wait list. Booked Oct 29 thru NOV 5 in STD now wondering did I do this wrong...will they only change reservation it whole 2 weeks HA comes thru or will they keep some aside as they come in. Did not think to ask these questions since this has not happened before. Thank you for any help. Carol

depends upon what you told them.

if nothing then yes they will wait for the whole 2 weeks.

no, if someone already had a day by day waitlist, this person would get the days before you. despite you being on the waitlist earlier.

To be honest when we made the reservation the MS person didn't offer anything other than booking the 2 weeks in perfered....and waitlist . He started off tell us ..you can't get this , you can't get this etc. but you can get perfered for all. Didn't realize you could book it that way. Do you think it is worth it or just leave it as is.
He did hold? the last week and we called and booked that. I guess you just learn the hard way...Oh we did book this very close to the 11 month window , just didn't want to do day by day for 3 weeks but in the future I guess we will.....thank you so much for answering. Carol

I would call and change it to day by day - they won't notify you just change the reservation. (if they can)

since you have so much time - really think you will get it regardless.
