Hello,

DH is a pretty picky eater. I'd seen most table service restaurants have Angus burgers or whatnot... Is there a way to have them make the burgers not so huge??lol I know that may sound a bit silly but he likes it better when the burger's thin and not so thick. Is that possible? Has anyone ever requested this before??

Also, is the cheese like... real cheese slices? Again, silly lol but we've gone to Applebee's and Chilis (he doesn't like burgers from either places) and they have thick burgers with like... thin transparent cheese.

I would love to go to a sit down place at Disney World but only if DH will be able to eat. :sad1:

Wow!!! Ya, your husband is SUPER picky!! Honestly, I dont think asking for a thin burger is possible since they dont form the burger freshly made-to-order. Its all pre-made. The only thing i can suggest is your hubby to ask for the kids burgers. Lol! I honestly dont find the pattys very thick. Theyre thick enough, but what i mean is, i've seen VERY thick burgers compared to disney. Your hubby should try it first....if he doesnt like it, im sure there are other things he will eat besides burgers?

I think the cheese on the burgers is american cheese slices. But someone correct me if im wrong?

If they make the burgers to order then maybe. If they use pre-formed meat patties, then no.

Will he only eat burgers?

What other things does he enjoy or like? WDW's restaurants cover about everything you could possibly want.

My thoughts exactly....surely he must like other types of food besides burgers? If he's that picky, then maybe you should stick to buffets. At least he will have lots to choose from....yes, even from the kids section if he wants.

Disney has a ton of restaurants with different themes and foods: you will find japanese, italian, french, german, mexican, seafood places, traditional buffets, burger joints, pizza, etc etc.

Why not try a buffet or two. He must be able to find something he likes there .... unless he only does eat burgers.

Probably not likely to happen..Most of the patties are pre-formed.If you are looking for McDonalds-like thin burgers you won't really find them at Disney

What kind of cheese does he prefer ? I would just look at different menus and verify that the burgers are available with that.

From someone in our party ordering burgers I can mention the following. Liberty Tree: they offer either cheddar or provolene and at Sci Fi it is either cheddar or swiss, Le Cellier is cheddar. I believe most locations have a cheddar option, some will have an additional. HTH.

Most of the Burgers I have had at WDW no matter if they are from Table Service Restaurant or Quick Service location have been big. Now the only one where you can select the type of Cheese you want is at the Contempo Cafe which is the Quick Service location at the Contemporary, however those are Angus Burgers that are sold there.

Seriously? I would tell him to just order something other than a burger if he is so picky. There is so much good food at Disney, I'm sure he will find something to his liking. :thumbsup2

Unless they've changed things over there you should try Beaches & Cream. I think they use the thinner patties, or they used to. However, it's the smallest restaurant at WDW and it doesn't take reservations.

I remember this as well-the patties were thinner. They were also my favorite burgers in WDW!

Thanks for all the replies! His taste pallete is pretty limited lol he doesn't like anything too exotic. plain cheeseburger.. pepperoni pizza.. grill cheese. I know, he eats like a child lol Maybe we'll try Beaches and Cream then :)

Thanks again guys~ I love this place, everyone's so helpful! :goodvibes

Be sure to head over there during an off time to ensure a seat. They do not take reservations & they are a very small restaurant. Either right when they open or mid afternoon is easiest. Beaches & Cream is a fantastic restaurant!

2nd this...At traditonal meal times and when illuminations gets out the waits can be anywhere from 15mins to over an HOUR for a table

I don't think it is a big problem, just choose a restaurant, not a small café with huge amount of people. Also you can ask wait person these questions about cheese and burgers, I think they can offer you something good :wizard:
Besides if you have any problems with restaurants, is a good way to discuss them pissedconsumer.com/consumer-reviews/restaurants.html
