question about bridesmaid dress

i was vacuuming tonight and when i put the vacuum away, i saw my bridesmaid dress from my friend's wedding earlier this year still covered in the david's bridal plastic bag. i was wondering what to do with the dress. any suggestions on what i should do with it storage wise? thanks for the help in advance.

When I was a bridesmaid, I beleive I sold mine at a wedding used dresses store for some extra cash. I think I got like 30 bucks back for it

wow, you can do that? i didn't know that! the dress is so formal and i don't know what to do with it.

Or you could donate it somewhere (like your church) in hopes of helping out with someone's future wedding.

There are also programs that you could donate it to that provides Prom/formal dresses for teenagers who would otherwise be unable to afford a nice dress for the dance. Just an idea.

I'm sure a consignment shop would sell the dress for you, or you could donate it to a charity. I donated my wedding dress to an organization I saw on Oprah several years ago that sells them and the proceeds go for breast cancer research. I hated to part with it, but, as an older bride with no children in the future, this seemed like a good option.
