?? Question about Bounce backs

I have been to WDW several times -- for business trips and for fun. I get emails and mail PINs frm them also (got a fd one for this fall that I can't use since we are going this april) anyway, I've never gotten a bounceback.. From what I gather they are a card or ad that you get in your room while at the resort? If so, do you have to book (including deposit) your next trip to get the bouceback while you are still @ wdw to get the bounce back rates? Just curious.

Yes, thats the point of the bounceback. You have to book your next trip while youre still checked in at the resort. There will be either a flyer in the room or it will be on the tv or you could even just call the special phone number even if there isnt a flyer. You have to put the deposit down before you check out.

We were at Pop last year when we came back to our room and found a printout on our table. It was the bounce back offer! So, I called the next morning to discuss it, booked it and after my wife was thrilled about it. You know, it's a great feeling to know you'll be back the next year with a free dining plan to plan and think about over the next year. It helps make the year go by fast - we've already gone half way to our next trip in September!!! The telephone number to call on it I dialed from our room and it was great. We did the insurance as well in case something bad happened and we couldn't go down so there's little risk. I gave them a deposit of $200 to hold the reservation and have since paid it off! We can't wait to go back down - 2 weeks at Pop!!

ok so you book your next trip while on your current trip... is there typically a time frame you have to go back by (i.e. in less then 12 months, or around 12 months?)

Thanks for the info.. I may have gotten a bounceback before and just tossed it with all the other junk you get in the room without realising what it was

Its only good for select dates in 2009. There will be a calendar or a clock with the dates on it in your room. Sometime in August/September will offer dates into 2010
