Question about bounce back offer

I know you have 7 days to book a room for a bounce back. I was wondering once the 7 days are up can I try and modify my room to another room with the bounce back offer? Currently what I want is not available, but I know inventory changes all the time. So I was wondering if I try to modify I could see new rooms available once that window is closed or if modify with the deal will no longer be possible?

We checked out last Thursday and I booked a bounce back a few days later. I checked my reservation on the Disney website and I have the "change reservation" option listed. I can modify my reservation with the deal. Although, right now, it looks like I can change the dates and room type, but not the resort. Maybe that will change.

If you book a bounce back room, you are able to modify it to a different room provided the new room is part of the bounce back offer inventory. However, once you are past the 7 days, you will probably need to call in to find out if your preferred choice is available and to do any changes to your bounce back reservation - we can’t make changes online with our bounce back reservation which we made last summer.

If you make the BB reservation yourself online, you should have the option to change it after the 7 days. If you made it by calling CRO, you’ll *probably* have to call. There have been some mixed reports on that. But if you made it online, the change button will show even after 7 days. For me, I want to change resorts & dates, so I have to do it in 2 steps… search new dates or resorts first, then the other. It doesn’t let me change both & then search.
 

Whether you have to call or will be able to make the modification yourself online, you can absolutely change dates, Resort, room type, etc. after your initial 7 days are up. As long as there is availability under the offer and/or your new dates are covered by the offer, you can make as many changes as you want.
 
Thanks everyone! I made the reservation online. We just checked out today so I still have the 7 days at the moment. Would be great modifying online instead of calling
Also, if you are looking for a room that is part of DVC inventory (BRV studio, etc), you may have to wait until the 11 month mark to see any availability (if it's a DVC sold out resort). I usually book a Poly studio and a CCV/BRV villa (split stay), but it's usually a year out. I have to book a BB reservation at another resort then call at the 11 month mark to see if I can modify. I've been able to do so since they started the BB discount.
 
You can book a bounce back online? Is a code listed in the room? I thought you had to call.
Edited to add that I found there should be a return to the magic offer under special offers. I've never received an email from Disney for one.

Yes you can do it online now. First time I did was back in November. So much more convenient than calling and can search for what I want throughout the year. When you go into your account look at your deals when searching for a room it’s where if you’re an annual passholder or Florida resident are located. It’ll say save on your stay or something similar I forget exactly and will show you the discount room and rate. You should also receive an email after check out that mentions the bounce back and a link to search for a room but you don’t need the email to book

Currently it goes through the end of the year. Not sure when they will open up dates for next year. When I went in November I was able to book through the end of the 2025 year too.

I looked at my old emails and looks like the first day of my bounce back it went through 10/31 and by the end of the week it went through the end of the year. So maybe they’ll add a few months on soon
