Question about borrowing points

We are looking at staying at our home resort next November. But we don’t have enough point next year. I was wanting to borrow from 2021 points. My use year is September. My question is when can I borrow from 2021 points. I know my 11 month mark will be January to book. I didn’t know if I would be able to borrow then. I hope I make scents. I’m new to the borrowing and use year.

You can borrow when you make a reservation as long as the trip is in the UY prior to the year you want to borrow,

Since. November 2020 trip happens in your 2020 UY, you can borrow 2021 points when you book at your 11 month mark this December.

Everything is based on the time of the trip, not when you can call to book!

You should make your reservation at the 11 month window. If you are going in November, 2020, then you can make the reservation in December 2019. You should be able to use your 2020 UY and 2021 UY points at the time of booking. You can do it online and it will show you that you will need to borrow the points.
