question about booking thru Travelocity

When I made my res for FTP the Disney web site was sold out of my dates so I went thru travelocity. I checked the Disney site today and my dates are now available. It would be a $75 fee to cancel my res and switch to Disney. The reason I was considering this is when I called Disney to request a non smoking room they said they did not handle any requests from "wholesale bought" packages and I would have to call travelocity. Does this mean I cannot fax a room request a few days before I get there? Also, does this mean they won't let me upgrade to waterview at check in since I did not book thru them? Any answers or ideas are appreciated. My husband said it is not worth the 75 to rebook so I guess I am trying to make myself feel better. Thanks
