Question about booking entire stay with one call

So, I was planning on booking our 8-night October DVC stay with one phone call when I realized that the maximum allowed is 7 nights.

So, should I call on March 14 to book the first seven nights (check-in Oct 14) and then call on March 21 to book the final night? Or should I call on March 15, book 7 nights, then call back 5 minutes later to add the first night?

What are the rules relating to this???

I'd love to know the answer to this too. I also have an 8 night stay planned in October (ironically, checking in the day after you). My question is also, can I call on March 15th for the first 7 days, then call back on the next day to add the last day to the existing reservation (7 days from the first/second day, if you understand)?

You could call on 3/14 for the first 7 nights and call back on 3/15 for the last night. Or call on 3/15 for the whole thing (because you are then one day past the 7 month mark). For best room availability, I would do the first.

I think it depends upon which resort and room type you are trying to book. For OKW or SSR, I would book all at once. If you are trying to book an EPCOT area resort during food and wine, I would definately book the 7 days, and try for the 8th on the next day.

Hoping for BCV. I already have it for all except one day-I ran out of availability of points. If not there, I'll try for a day at AKV.
