Question about booking and paying for 2 rooms.

I am so excited!! Friends of ours actually want to meet us in WDW this summer . We have tried for years to get friends to go.

We have decided on one of the Value resorts. Because we want "ajoining" (not connecting) rooms, should I call and make the reservation for both rooms or should they call for their own room? Can I give her credit card number for their room deposit (if I make the reservation), or does it all go under my credit card? I am not sure of the logistics of it all. If we do it seperately, would we each just request a room close to eachother (or ajoining)?

They have never been and I thought because it is their first time (and little children) we should stay onsite. This is HUGE for us becuase we have been many times but always stayed off site.

you could do it. but I would make my own and have her make her own.

then if something happens you won't find yourself in the middle.

ask for adjoining rooms - you may get them you may not - just when you check in - repeat the request.

I would make the reservations at the same time and just use different credit cards for each room. I booked a grand gathering for 13 people last year and requested adjoining rooms, each person gave me their cc number and it worked out great! All of the rooms were right next to the other. Have a wonderful time. Staying on property is such a special treat!

When each of you make your reservation have them add a "traveling with" to each reservation with the other persons confirmation #. That way they see you are traveling together. We have done this in the past with no problems.
