Question about Bongo's Cuban Cafe Express

I know I have read some harsh reviews about the café and it's poor service on reviews but my question pertains to the café express. I always like trying new food when I come to Disney and I have never tried Cuban food before. I was curious if anyone has eaten here before and what are your thoughts on the menu and food in general.

I really like Bongos, and I've never had bad service. I haven't tried the express. My family is Cuban and I find the food to be yummy and pretty authentic. The breaded chicken, flattened steak, shredded beef, rice and beans, and plantains (sweet/ripe and "green"/salted) are all very traditional dishes.

Thank you. One thing that was holding me back from eating at R'forest Café was that last trip my first meal and service was at T-Rex. A place I couldn't wait to eat at but heard that they share the same company as Rainforest Café. That is what makes me think twice. Not sure I would do TS, at Bongos seeing how it is just me, but would try Bongos Express cs for sure.
