question about BLT grand villa & wegoshop

Hello everyone,

We'll be taking staying our first time at BLT grand villa lake view next month. This is all we could get booking less than one month out. (Home resort is BCV and we added on Animal Kingdom). Stayed at all the Disney villas with exception of VWL (will do some day).

From some of the posts it looks like it is on the high floors, seems nice & magical? Is this so?

Also, I read from a post grocery delivery up to the room, was this wegoshop? Another was at Contemporary.

Any feedback will be extremely helpful.

The Grand Villas are on the top 2 floors of the resort so they have amaxing views.

We rent a car for a day and do our own shopping. That way we are guaranteed to get what we want, when we want it.

How many days is your stay? I'm impressed that you could get a grand villa one month out or for that month that you have the points for one at BLT. It is very doubtful we will ever stay at a BLT GV.

Many people on these boards use either Wego or Garden Grocer to order and deliver groceries. I understand that you can order beer, wine and alcohol to the comment section of the Garden Grocer order form, I know that garden grocer has a great website. But I'm not sure if Wego will purchase alcoholic beverages. The main difference between the two is that Wego buys at the store you name, e.g. Walmart, Target, maybe even the Discount Clubs (Sam's or Costco)--not really sure about those places.

thank you for your responses. this site and all your feedback is very helpful. DS does have severe medical condition so we could not come back home until this year-used our banked points from last year. Actually we also had to cancel this year's July AKL vacation, waitlisted and checked for anything and pieced this together. WDW has something for everyone and we absolutely love it and love being members. Counting down the days!
