Question about biometrics and old park hopper passes

Are they doing the biometrics on all tickets...including the old park hoppers?? TIA!

We came back on the 31st of Jan. Everyone else in my party used the old hoppers, and I used a new MYW ticket. I had to do the finger scan everytime I entered the parks..no one else in my party had to.
