My girlfriend does business with Disney and over the years she's been given all kinds of cool stuff that I don't think you can get normally.

She's not a collector and so she asked me to sell the stuff for her on ebay. I posted a bunch of it and unfortunately a lot of items went for $0.99! Is the market just soft for collectables right now because of the economy, or is ebay not the right venue, or am I not doing a good job of listing the items?

Example:
She has a box from the 50th anniversary of Disneyland. It has a 3d Disney Castle with tinkerbell on the cover. Inside is a 3d book with 7 pages + front and back cover, that has 6 3d pictures
The back cover has an invite to the Happiest Celebration on Earth, May 3-5 2005. The invite says it is non-transferable. There's also a 6"x6" 3d plaque/paperweight/???? in the box as well.
I've only had 10 people click on it... so I'm not sure if I have it priced too high or just bad search words? Any idea what it's worth?

You did not list it right...and..or..your feedback is either insufficent..or bad.
You also did not do your research and price it right.
Listing an item for 99. on ebay is a big gamble...
if you wanted to do so to save on fees...
or generate more interest....
you have to list the item for at least 7 days and preferably 10..
so that you give collectors a chance to find it.
I am an ebay power seller[doll clothes and fine leather goods..not Disney..lol]..
and..I notice a lot of things that folks do..to ensure..they make no money on thier auctions.
They waste title space..using words like"rare" ,"beautiful"..and my personal favorite waste of space:"wow!"
They push an items rarity,or tell you what it can be used for..ect....
or...the worst of all..they put misspellings in the title....
and very few details on the items condition in the listing.
Also...if you get a question on your item..make sure you and it within an hour or 2 at the most.
send me a pm....with the listing # of your items..and..
I will try and see what went wrong for you...
and see if I can help you..
