Question about Belle in the parks...

Does Belle appear anywhere in the parks in her gold dress (besides the Beauty and the Beast Stage show at MGM)? I've seen pictures from CRT and seen her in the parks and she is in the blue frumpy dress (we have CRT reservations). When she appears in France with Beast is she still in the blue dress? I'm sure my kids will recognize her regardless, I just think it would be more exciting for them to meet her in her gold dress.

I think one time she was at Toontown in her gold dress but I'm not sure.

I saw Belle with the Beast in France this past May and she was definitely in the blue dress. I would think the best thing to try is possibly the princess line in Toontown. Good luck!

I've heard that the only place you're likely to see Belle in her gold dress is at the Princess Room in Toontown. She is not a regular at this location, but may show up as a "mystery guest" when one of the three regular princesses (Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora) can't be there.

Someone recently posted here (with photos, too!) that they met Belle in her yellow gown, in the ToonTown Hall of Fame character greeting rooms. I read other reports of people seeing here there as well. It does appear to be an unusual thing though, as she usually is wearing the blue/white dress everywhere else! Probably a very hit-or-miss thing to find Belle wearing yellow in ToonTown.

On my next trip, I will keep an eye out for "yellow" Belle.

My DD is 'very close personal friends' with Belle in WDW. Belle usually does not appear in her gold gown for Meet and Greets because those gowns are VERY expensive. During Meet and Greets costumes can easily get extremely soiled and damaged so they try and save them for the shows and special occasions.In CRT, the restaurant is so crowded that Belle would have problems maneuvering through the tables in the gold gown with its huge hoop skirt. Occasionally Belle will surprise people and appear in the gold gown though--so be alert. Sometimes if Cinderellabration is cancelled, the Cast will come out for an unexpected M&G--and Belle will be wearing the gold gown then.

You're right, my DD 11 loves Belle we looked for her this past trip and no luck, she wanted to see her in the yellow dress, we waited for Princesses M&G for 40 Minutes hoping to see her, but the mistery character was Aurora, her face droped.

She was happy to see her at Cindy-bration!

I just discovered another difference between WDW and DL! I just got back from DL and every time I saw Belle she was in her gold gown. DS worked there all summer, saw her all over every day, and she was always in her gold gown. One related difference is that the "handlers"/"escorts" for the princesses are always males dressed as lords.
