Question about becoming a Cast Member and Annual Passes!

I tried this when I became a cm, also about 4 years ago. I was told I could take my AP to Guest Relations and get a partial refund.

When I went, they said, "Wow, you've been in the parks so much that there's no remaining value!"

So apparently it's somehow based on the number of times you've used the AP to enter a park.

If you're serious, I'm afraid that you were (shall we say) "mislead," my friend. ;)

I just got hired June 4 & had a Premier Pass that expired July 2. I was just glad that the timing worked out where I didn't have to renew it.

Uhhhh...

nope.

(But, with an answer like that, you'll FIT right IN!)

:goodvibes

LOL Oh well...that's what training is for, right? :rotfl2:

And thanks everyone else. :) I really can't wait till Thursday.

And I have spoken to CM's who work or have worked in DRC and they said they loved it. princess:

The problem is that in "training" they will tell you 7 PM. :sad2:

Wow great training there. :scared1: Doesn't know how an AP works.

Unfortunately the way the contract for the MPP is written there is no way to cancel it, especially if the AP has been used.

The only way that I could think of is to totally close the account that it is hitting; if a credit card totally close includes paying the CC bill in full, if a debit card closing the account that it is tied to. In that event then the charge would bounce back and the AP would immediately be suspended. But if you are a CM you don't want that to happen.

Good luck at your interview! I have an interview august 26th for attractions!!! I dont know if this is the right place to ask but what do you wear? I'm a guy and i dont know if i should wear a suit, tie, just a shirt, can i wear a pin lanyard? I just dont know! I'm very excited and hopefully i get the job! Dress with neat slacks, sport shirt, real shoes. No pin lanyard. And have a reasonably fresh haircut.

Thank you again to everyone who wished me well. I will be part-time merch in a resort. I go to Traditions on Tuesday!! :cheer2:

Congratulations :goodvibes

My brother said that when he went through some sort of orientation, they threw "pixie dust" on him. :rotfl:

haha! That's too cute! That was probably Traditions, which is what they call orientation. Where does your brother work?

He's a manager at Smart City, the exclusive telephone company for the WDW Resort. He works on-site and wears a SC-CM badge. But I've never asked him to turn free internet on for me ...or free anything for that matter, not even a room discount. But he has gotten me some sweeeet CM discounts shopping at the parks, especially at the perfume shop in WS France. :cloud9: He'll also call to rub in my face that he's eating at Epcot for lunch. Brat. :headache:

But, yeah. He had to do the whole orientation thing.

I had the same problem and all you can do is continue to pay it. There's no way out.

And congratulations, you'll learn a lot at your location training, a lot more than traditions which is just about Disney as a whole.
