Although we have already used our points for our first trip as DVC members in May, we stayed at BWV and will also enjoy BWV again in December--our first trip to our HOME resort of BCV is'nt untill next May.

I have a question--we have not toured the resort at all. From looking at the resort plans, it seems as though the BCV rooms are far, far away from SAB!! Is it really as bad as it looks on paper?? And how long to walk there??

Thanks for any input!!

( Doesn't really matter I guess, just wondering:))

We stayed at BCV in early June and the walk wasn't bad at all. I would guess less than 5 min. and we had 3 kids under the age of 5, a stroller, 3 noodles, camera bags, etc., etc...

I concur with the above. You just go down to the 1st flr of the BCV, across the BC lobby and you're there!

very few of the BC/YC hotel rooms are even very close to SAB!

I agree with the other posters as well. About a 5 minute walk. But I also wanted to mention, if you make a left right before the BC elevators you can sneak out the door behind the elevators and you won't have to go through the lobby in your bathing suit.

The walk to the pool is so enjoyable and full of sights, that you hardly notice. Having said that, anyone who can endure the rigors and walking in the parks can certainly make the trek to the pool. Believe me, it's worth every step!

Thats pretty much waht I was going to say... Where in WDW IS close to where you stay, eat, etc. WDW stands for Walking Disney World.

Terry, more details please. How do you go out? Is it by that room with the small tv for the kids? I HATE shlepping thru that gorgeous lobby in my middle-aged-mom suit... And it's cold, too!
