Question about Bay Pool at Contemporary

We're staying at the Contemporary in June. Although we've stayed here before nad haved used the facilities, I wasn't sure if the Bay Pool - the round pool closest to Bay Lake - had a deep 'end'. I know it's shallow in the end and deeper in the middle, but how deep exactly? The lack of a deep end in the main pool was a disappointment.

I'm 6 feet tall. I'm guessing the water was around 5 feet deep in the middle of the Bay Pool.

I was disappointed to find out that the water in the feature pool was only around 3 feet deep.

BTW, beware the ducks in the Bay Pool. I'm not afraid of birds, but when they entered the pool, I exited the pool. No need to swim with duck poo. Yuck!

When I was there I found it to be uncrowded and relaxing. I didn't come across any birds or bird poop in the pool. It is kind of weird having it deep in the center. Nice getaway spot from the main pool. Have fun!
