Question about Baby Wait Passes

I'd just hate to have to hold my squirmy toddler in line, with no stroller, and have to keep him entertained and happy, while he watches everyone else get on a ride that he can't get on. That doesn't sound fun at all, and seems like it defeats the purpose of the child swap.

I can sure relate to this! I don't think I could have done a baby swap inside the ride, when my kids were toddlers, either. It worked kinda nicely for our youngest though; she's almost 6, but wasn't comfortable going on some of the more intense rides. However, she did enjoy looking at the theming and some of the interesting queues while we waited. On Space Mountain, of course, she got to see the whole launch area and watch people take off as we made our way down the switchback ramp, and she enjoyed that. She decided later that she didn't care for Indy because it was kinda damp and musty smelling in there, she said. Also, sometimes it was nice to sit there with her and relax and just chat while we waited... a bit of a breather for both of us.

JJames, Bumbershoot and others

This trip is because Mom wants to do some things Dad would never do with her while he was alive. She said she would had to die and never have been to California and Disneyland. She can tell you where we are going, who is going with us, where we are eating etc but can't remember what she ate 30 minutes ago or manage her medicines. She loves the Disney queques, so she will want to stay with us. She will choose what she wants to ride and what she doesn't. I am so glad to have this time. Last year when Mom was diagnosed she decided she wanted to give my brother and I a Christmas present for all the ones she would forget--we went on an Alaskian Cruise. So we are glad to have this time.
