I am thinking of making some 4x6 cards for my girls. Just something like "Amy's Disney Friends ~ 2008" across the top. And for the characters I KNOW we'll be looking for (princesses, Mickey and friends, Pooh and friends) I'll put a small clip art in the bottom corner. Otherwise I'll leave a bunch with just hte top banner for whoever we run into. I think I'll bring them loose in a ziplock. Each girl will have their own set. So that's two bags I'll have to be ready to whip cards out of. My problem is that I don't know what hard surface to have them write on.
I thought of a memo clipboard... they are about 6x9. But I don't know how big of a pain it would be to find the card, clip it in the clipboard and then hand it over. Plus, it might cover up some design... I'm trying to give as much writing space as possible since I'm using the smaller cards.
I thought of just using a streng steno pad and they could just put the card on top and write on it. It would give the girls something to write in on the bus on the way back to the resort etc. But is it too risky to have the cards loose like that? Will they blow away? Is it hard for the characters to handle them like that?
Or maybe it's better to make them and then spiral bind them? Then when I get home I could take off the spiral binding and then get them in an album with the pictures? How much room does the binding take?
I've never been to Disney. Are the 4x6 cards with the sprial binding something all the characters (even with big gloved hands) can handle easily?
Help, please!
Thanks!
