We booked a preferred room in this building, so I'm really hoping the request is honored. I'd read of some people saying that they got "Andy's Room" and don't know what that exactly means when it comes to the hotel. Is it a special room that you can ask for?

I haven't seen those specific posts, and I am not aware of such a room. There are two Toy Story buildings - one with Buzz outside and one with Woody. The courtyard between the two is themed after Andy's room. There are smaller statues of Rex, Bo Peep, & RC. There is a huge door that you walk through to enter the courtyard. There is an oversized checkerboard on the ground. It's a fun area to take pictures. You can even get in RC -- he's just outside the "room". Maybe others have posted that their room overlooked the courtyard??

We stayed in the Buzz building when my DS was 3. He was at the peak of his Toy Story mania & absolutely LOVED coming "home" to the Buzz building each night. We've "graduated" to deluxes now, but at the time, the finest suite on property would not have been as special to him!

Have a great trip!

Someone posted "we got Andy's room", so maybe they meant that was their location. That makes sense since you explained that the courtyard is themed as such. Thanks.

If you go here http://allearsnet.com/acc/g_asm.htm

Look at the links for Buzz, Woody, etc... it is the large outside icons. Andy's room is where these are situated, it looks like a larger than life bedroom floor, there is a big door, 'toys' scattered, etc.. there are certain places in the hotel that overlook this 'room'.
