Question about AP's and lap baby for August trip

We're going on a big family trip in August and I have a couple questions. First, we are seriously considering buying Premier AP's since we are going to WDW and need the excuse to go to DL more often; also we will probably be renting two cars in WDW and getting two AP's will save tons on parking fees so... is it correct that the Premier AP's can be purchased at Downtown Disney in WDW and that you do not have to pay for parking there? And does anyone know/have experience with what the food discounts are with the AP at WDW?

Second, I bought our plane tickets before DD was born and a)I didn't see where you could indicate you would have a lap baby on Expedia (found it later) and 2)I didn't want to jinx it so... should I call the airlines now and tell them or should I just wait and tell them when we get to the airport?

DD will be 9 months and any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Call and tell the airline, and when you show up at the airport be prepared with a copy of the child's birth certificate.

The reason you should call is seat assignments: it is illegal to have more than one lap baby in a row, because there is only one extra oxygen mask in each row. It helps when they know this ahead of time.

Thanks for reminding me about the birth certificate! I knew that but haven't thought about it at all. It's on a list now :) I thought I read somewhere you didn't need to tell the airline way ahead of time, but it would probably be best to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible at the airport.
