question about AP

Here's my plan:

I'd like to purchase 1 AP at the current $30 discount for BF and then get Fun Cards for the rest of my family. The AP will get us free parking + some other benefits. It states on the site that free parking will be on the 2nd visit onward unless the AP is purchased online. My question is this: If I purchase an AP online, do they mail me the AP and that is what I would show on my first visit in order to get free parking? If so, when does the AP get activated? When I buy it, or when I first use it at the park?

You would show the voucher you print out and your id to get free parking. The AP starts the day you purchase it.

Thanks for the info. Actually I decided to call the 800 number and they confirmed about the voucher. However, they did say that the AP wouldn't be activated until first used at the park.

This, my AP was activated when used at the park, not at purchase. I did print my voucher and did get the free parking with it, but my expiration date is based on first USE not purchase.

Well actually it depends on how you buy them. This yr for anyone who had a preschool pass last yr they could upgrade and buy an AP and get 50% off the price. I drove up there cause you could only buy them at the park to get the discount and bought two passes for my girls. There passes exp one yr from the day I purchased. We did not use them til may. So as soon as you get the pass it exp one yr from that date not the use.
