Hoping someone can clear this up for me. I purchased APs over the phone a few days ago and linked them to My Disney Experience account. They are showing up as expiring 1/28/18...just want to make sure that doesn't mean it is reflecting activated tickets, since we are going to activate next August. Are your vouchers reflecting with an expiration date 13 months from purchase?

Following, buying an AP as a gift for someone in threat day or so and they will activate it in July

Are these new AP's or a renewal? I just renewed my AP that originally was expiring Feb. 20, 2017. The renewal will automatically start when the first one expires and has an expiration date of March 22, 2018 (13 months and I guess they threw in a couple of days).

1. If these are NEW (not renewal) APs they should not be showing up with an expiration date (other than the year 2030.)
2. If these are NEW (not renewal) APs you should call back and straighten this out.

Totally agree with Robo. If these are new APs (not renewals), you need to call and get that straightened out. I ordered two new ones Tuesday that we plan to activate next September. Both are showing in MDE with 12/31/2030 expiration dates. Mine were ordered online.

Mine are a little different. I bought 4 AP certificates while at WDW last month. I plan to use 2 beginning in March. When I went to add them to my MDE last week - it didn't work. After calling for help they discovered that the CM had entered the wrong date on the computer and the date had already passed! So, they fixed it but they added all 4 to my MDE although I would have preferred to wait on 2 of them. Not sure if I will end up using 2 for my kids or using them for ourselves after the first 2 expire.... Anyways this is what ours look like. I questioned the date and was told that was just the date that the 13 month promtion ends and they could still be redeemed later just would not receive 13 months as a benefit

Does anyone else have theirs show up like this?

I think they are adding 30 days on renewals. My original renewal date was Jan 3rd and now it's Feb 2nd.

That sounds about right, looking at your date. It is my understanding that you have 18 months from the date of purchase to activate the passes and get the 13-months. If you purchased them on 12/21 (or had them fix the issue around the 21st), then that would put 18 months at June 21, 2018, so seems right.

Thanks so much to everyone who replied! I called back and got a CM who told me I was incorrect, that she has been selling tickets for many years, and the expiration date shown is correct because the vouchers expire in a year It wasn't till I asked her a question about older tickets I bought but did not use several years ago that she offered to connect me to a specific ticketing agent...who proceeded to tell me I had been sold activated APs in error and she corrected them to vouchers, expiring in 18 months. I wish I could've bought them online to avoid all the hoopla and have an expiration date of 2030, but unfortunately my disney gift cards refused to combine onto one big one and I ended up with 3...forcing me to call and order. If I hadn't called to correct, 8 months of my brand new passes would have passed before I tried to activate them & it would've cut into my arrival day as I attempted to fix...so a great big for all of you.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. But I may or may not end up using the other two APs for my kids. If I don't I was told and assume that it is correct that they will still be good after 18 months, just will not get the extra one month benefit.

AP vouchers are good for conversion to live APs until the end of the year 2030.

Yes, mine have the 2030 date. However, I have been told multiple times that in order to get the 13th month, the pass has to be activated within 18 months. Outside of 18 months it can still be activated, just good for 12 months instead of 13. At least that's what I've been told.
