I've purchased APs online but not as a DVC member. I realize that the DVC portal will allow Disney to view my blue card membership. In the past, were members able to purchase the AP as a DVC member on the DVC website? Thank you for any information.

I was able to purchase mine online at the DVC rate in early 2020 but I had to do it through the Disney website. I did not do it through the DVC website.

Edited to add: These are DVC Gold APs I purchased online. I am not a FL resident.

We’ve had to call for DVC Gold APs. I think you can buy the more expensive Platinum APs online at the DVC discounted price, but I could be wrong about that! :cutie:

As a first-timer, I'm so eager to get a DVC AP. I must admit, though, that after the denial of being able to get an AP as a DVC member, I'm not against just loving my DVC homes. I realize there are capacity limits, etc. in the parks, and truly have no basis to even formulate an opinion about how or what was best for Disney, I'm just so darn happy to be a DVC owner! I spent the last trip all day at AKV, mostly watching the animals from the balcony. It was a pleasure. AP or not, I'm going every chance my 440 pts will allow this single woman and her soon-to-be hubby to visit the resorts! DVC is for me! LOL Adding an AP would be the icing on the cake.

I think we were able to purchase APs on the WDW website back in February 2020. I recall having to work around in order to see Florida tickets and passes, but selecting the Gold AP pass did have being a DVC member as a requirement to purchase. I think we had to enter our membership # on one of the pages. On our first trip, we went to Guest Relations to activate the vouchers and get our AP card, showing ID and our blue card.

You could never actually purchase any AP on the DVC member site. Pre-pandemic, a member could purchase any new, discounted AP, including the DVC Members' Gold, under Parks and Tickets when on the member's MyDisneyExperience account, but you had to call DVC to renew the pass. As a result of the Pandemic, Disney stopped selling any annual passes to anyone online, but those who had an impacted annual pass in 2020 have been able to renew or buy a new one, including a DVC Gold AP, via calling the Annual Passholder phone number (or via calling Member Services).

Sort of.

There is a DVC AP page with pricing and a link to purchase new APs online. Once signed in, the link redirects you to the WDW website and unlocks the DVC AP options. Again, you begin on the DVC website.

This is the only way I have ever purchased DVC APs online.

For renewals, you must call or use Will Call.

(please disregard the old pricing)
