Hi Everyone!!

We are hoping to go back to DLP for Feb half term. We are looking at travelling on the euro star which we have never done before. as we bought our APs on our last visit - we wanted to see if it would be worth booking a disney hotel with our AP discount - i rang them tp get a price but they said they can only quote me 60 days in advance - is that right as I usually like to get things all booked up way before then. thanks xxxx

This is a new thing they seem to have introduced very recently, and some of us have written complaints about it (yet to get a reply!).

While I wasn't able to book for Christmas, I was able to get a quote for what the discounted price would be, providing rooms were available when the day I could actually book came around.

This enabled me to decide that actually it was a lot cheaper for me to book an off site hotel anyway.

An alternative option might be to book somewhere like My Travel Explorers, where they allow you to cancel without penalty, then see if you can get a Disney hotel room 60 days before your date of travel.

thanks - we stayed at the holiday inn last time which we really enjoyed. i see that some of you have been getting really cheap HI deals through the euro star web site but they say there is no availability for feb half term - even though i can get a quote from the HI web site.

Not sure which dates you are checking, but I just checked for 16th February for 3 nights, as that is when our half term is I think.

It tells me I can't book until 19th August, so I think you just need to wait a week or two, then try again. An alternative might be to give Eurostar a call, this is often a better option anyway, if you want to ensure you are seated together.

The other thing I found is to phone Disney and speak to a different person. I had one person tell me they couldn't give AP rates until 60 days beforehand, so I said thanks, rang back straight away and got a different operator who gave the prices and allowed booking. :confused3

I find that you seem to get different information from different CM's. Guess it's much like any other company really.

I'd certainly try calling back to see if you get someone else who may allow booking
