Question about AP discount and free dining

If I wanted to get an AP rate for my room and then purchase a one-day ticket for the free dining package, am I allowed to do that?

To get Free Dining, you ahve to pay full Rack Rate, and buy 1day base tickets... You cant double up on discounts/deals

Nope, I had to give up my discounted room rate in order to get the free dining. I have an AP, so did the one park, one day passes for my family. When I did the math, I still saved a ton of money with the free dining vs my discounted room only rate.

Any dining component is not tied directly to a MYW pass as far as an only requirement to be able to buy DDP.
The passes and the DDP are part of a WDTC package. To buy a WDTC DDP package guests have to meet the package requirements, such as what (if any) passes have to be bought, dates, memberships, etc.
