Question about Annual Passport billing

With the monthly payment plan, do they charge you for the first month right after you pay the down-payment? We plan on doing the monthly payment plan for four passes, and, with the down-payment it adds up to around 500 dollars. Just to need to know what to expect, thanks.

The first month's payment is charged the first few days after you set up the AP billing.

The first payment is typically taken out the same day or at the very least, the next business day.

My experience was the down payment was taken out immediately. The first payment came out about 5 days later.

I think it has varied, but I would just plan on it coming out right away. Mine also came out the same day, so if it were me, I would count on that just in case.

i too think it varies because my dd just renewed her pass a few weeks ago and they took it out 2 days after she renewed...so I would plan on having the monthly amount available as soon as you purchase/renew

My down came out immediately as did my first months payment. Both were within seconds of each other.
