Question about annual dues/membership fees

We currently own at HH and VB. We've only stayed at HH two nights and prefer staying in WDW villas. When we bought, HH dues were the least expensive, that's why we bought (end of 1999) there. We added on a small number of points at VB when a good deal came about. Now HH and VB have the highest dues.

My question is, what are the chances that HH and VB dues will someday be less than those on WDW property? Will that ever happen?

I ask because I am currently planning on selling our HH and VB points (if someone will buy them) and purchase resale points at SSR after I've sold ours.

BTW, I have never had a problem booking on WDW property in all these years. I just didn't realize that I was paying more in dues than if I had points on WDW property, which is really where we want to stay.

I would think that off site resorts would always have higher dues.

Not owning at WDW will be a problem in the future. As additional members are added, booking at 7 months will become increasingly difficult.

Probably never........HH and VB carry a high cost insurance policy because of hurricanes. I beleive this is why the dues are growing at a faster rate then the inland resorts. There may be other reasons as well.......
