Question about American Airlines/Southwest & WDW shuttle service

We are going to WDW in three weeks and are flying on American Airlines. We will be going with a group of family members and half are flying with us on American and the others are flying on Southwest. I was wondering where we go to catch the shuttle service to our hotel in WDW? Is the shuttle service far? We are all flying in at the same time and are hoping to meet up and catch the shuttle at the same time. Any advice/tips are appreciated. We are flying with 5 kids, 3 of them about 2 and under so we are hoping to get through the airport quickly.

If you're asking about Mears motorshuttle (which is who they are now still using for the new magic myway free shuttle thing ) the shuttles are caught right outside of baggage claim. I don't know if it has changed at all as far as, if Disney now has their own check in booth or something now that they have the free shuttle service, but I do know that when it was just Mears they had the ticket booths right outside bag claim and that's where the shuttles would pick you up.

The free shuttle service doesn't start until May.

Thanks. I almost got upset when I read free shuttle service since we had to pay for ours :worried but then I read that it doesn't start till May.

May huh? Good to know...sorry, I moved to FL almost 4yrs ago now so I don't pay quite as much attention to the airport stuff. I do know though that we always used to fly in and take Mears though and that you catch it right outside of baggage claim so...in any case, hopefully that answers the original question.

I though you caught Mears down one flight from baggage claim? Either way, there are signs everywhere.
