Well my 8 night trip to WDW fell through due to truck repair :( (now going in April instead for the camping trip.) :)

But all is not lost, we had already bought tickets to go to the Christmas party on the 1st and that is also our anniversary so I really wanted to go and now we will be there for 3 nights at the All Stars, Fantasia building. :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Since we have never stayed there before, I was just wondering what everyone thought about the All Stars Movies. Any commets welcome. :D

We stayed at ASMo for both of our trips and LOVED it! The first visit my DS went around and photographed the entire resort. We even liked the food court and Fantasia is a really central and good location. One tip - we are light sleepers and brought along earplugs (and since Fantasia is central it's a bit noiser). Worked like a charm!!

I wish I was going along too -- you'll have a great time:jester:

Love it, Love it, Love it. The Fantasia building is right in the center of everything. Perfect place to be. Have a reat time.

We stayed in the Toy Story section and loved every minute of it! The All Stars Movies was having a terrific rate of $49 per night and we grabbed it up right away. (This was about 1 year ago now). Since my son was a huge Toy Story fan at the time, we requested to stay in that building and it was fantastic... We requested to stay on the top floor and I am very glad that we did because the noise on the lower floors was pretty bad. This resort is geered towards kids and they get sooo excited, run around and make quite a bit of noise! I believe the best suggestion you can take is to request the top floor if you are a light sleeper or plan on going back to your room to take naps during the day; even though you have to take the stairs or elevator, having the quiet is worth it.

We did our first ALL-Star trip this past September and really liked it. We usually stay at a Deluxe or Moderate, so the wife wasn't sure about this resort. We stayed inthe Toy Story buildings and she was really surprised. The rooms are slightly smaller thanthe Mods, but had more drawer space. Pool lacked a slidign board, but was very nice - Mickey is a neat touch.

I think overall you will enjoy your stay.

We enjoyed everything about the ASMo except two things. First, we had really long waits for the Disney busses for the entire stay. Much longer than other resorts we have visited. Second, the food court was very noisy and chaotic! The food wasn't bad but everyone ended up going to different lines that moved at varying speeds so eating as a family at one time was almost impossible. It was also tough to find a clean table and then you have to make several trips back to the servcie area for utensils, napkins, drinks, etc. Of course, you don't have to eat there just because you are staying there but it is conviently located.

Rooms were fine, themeing terrific. Pool was nothing spectacular but it was large. Would stay again, especially if cost was a factor.

I've stayed at All Star Movies 3 times and I loved it each and every time. The best thing about it for me was the bus service. Excellent, cannot fault it. Hope you have a great time.:D

We've stayed at the All Star Movies twice now, and we LOVE this hotel!!! We were in Love Bug and 101 Dalmation and both locations were great - very quiet and a short walk to the food court/bus stop. I also thought the bus service was great - we never waited more than a few minutes!!

My little girl loves playing in Andy's room, as well as the TV set out by 101 Dalmations!
We were on the second floor both times, and never heard our neighbors!

I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Wow. We must have been really unlucky with the bus service because we waited at least 30 mins for busses on three different occasions.

CSX2 - You were really unlucky:mad: The most we ever waited was 10 minutes and that was when we ran up and the 1st bus was pulling away.

I think our BEST WDW trip was at the ASMo. The bus service was great!
We stayed three nights at ASMu last minth. I liked ASMo better, only because of the theming. But they are pretty interchangeable.
We didn't use the bus service at ASMu, but from what I saw (often while perusing the outdoor pin cart ;) ) they had the same short, organized bus lines as ASMo.

Thanks everyone for their comments, I believe we made a good choice...now if I can just stand it until we leave.
