Question about AK opening

Does anyone know if you are allowed into the wheelchair/stroller rental area before the AK opens? If so how early should we arrive? I am going with my sister and we both need electric wheelchairs. Last time I was there it was the same line as strollers and as we were there about 1/2 hour after the park opened the line was much too long for me to stand up in. I am asking this on this board because maybe the stroller rental parents know the answer. Thanks.

My DW uses an ECV at the parks when we visit ... we've never gotten in early just to get an ECV there. We usually arrive early, head toward the right-hand entry way and hope to get in as quickly as we can. I guess we're fortunate as she can go sit while I do the renting.

Sometimes if the line is long, a CM will walk through checking for ECV rentals. That's happened to us a couple of times ... the CM then took me out of line and processed the rental because everyone else was waiting for strollers.
