Question about air delays and rentals

We are flying into Orlando Oct. 8. Our airport has a lot of delays due to fog in Oct. and I am worried about catching our connecting flight. We are due into Orlando ant 11 am and are picking up a mini van at National at 12 noon. Will they hold our van and will we pay the same price if delayed?

Take the phone number for National and call if you are really delayed. An hour or so shouldn't cause a problem.

I usually book rental cars with a later pickup hour and hope that a car will be ready sooner if I arrive sooner (not delayed).

Some rental companies allow you to specify your flight number and they then hold the car for that flight.

Particularly if it is a busy week of the year, many car rental comapnies reserve the right to cancel your reservation if you don't pick up the car on time!

Definetly check to see if they are a company that will note your flight on your reservation. We always do this just in case.
