Question about ADR & number of guests

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question or has been answered before. This year we are traveling as a combined group and one of the kids is older. I have ADR's lined up for our trip in August. I made them all for 6 people. I was just thinking, what if someone decides they do not want to eat/do something else. Can we show up for the ADR's with 5/4 and not have a problem?

I think Disney is used to that happening. I think the only problem you would really encounter is if you tried to add people to your reservation at the last minute, but taking away shouldn't be an issue at all. Obviously if you know well ahead of the meal, you may want to call the restaurant and let them know if its say, 2 people that are going to opt out-it may or may not open up a table for someone else.
