Question about ADR cancellations

Hi everyone!

Question: is there a cancellation penalty for most ADRs? I have reservations for CP, and I just got one for Chef Mickey's (!!), but I may have to move some things around. CP and CM didn't take a credit card when I reserved, so I'm assuming that if I need to cancel a reservation, that means there is no charge/penalty? I read the info on the Disney site, but it's confusing me.

Appreciate any info you can offer. Sorry for being so dense!

Off the top of my head, the ones that have a cancellation penatly include CRT, Akershus and Cali Grill. I know there are others (maybe all the signatures take a cc now, not sure), but that's a start to the list for 'ya!

ETA, there is no cancelation penalty for CP and CM.

And don't you have up until about 48 hours before as well?
Or do they charge you the fee for any change?
