Greetings. I'm planning a trip to Disney World in August and I'm planning on staying at AKL. It will be me, my wife, our 2 year daughter, and my Mother-in-Law in 1 room.

I see that Disney charges a $25 fee for each adult >2, UNLESS the room has a king size bed. When I book online at Disney, do I get to choose whether I want 2 queens or 1 king? If they charge me for 2 queens, will I get refunded the $25 a night fee if I end up getting a king bed?

Thanks, and this website has been a huge help.

If you are three adults in one room the reservation will say that and I would think you would automatically get the two queen beds and be charged for the extra adult.

No need to worry, you will not be assigned a king room. The occupancy limit for all king rooms at all Disney resorts is 2 persons plus one child under the age of three.

You will get a queen-bedded room and you will be charged $25/nt. for your MIL.
