Question about adding on no expiration feature to MYW park hopper.

We bought our 7 day MYW with park hopping option at the Disney store for our upcoming October trip. We are going to make a day trip to either MK or Epcot on March 26th. We were going to buy just a single day ticket for doing this day but then thought why not use a day of our already paid for 7 day tickets so we can do MK and Epcot and then get the no expiration feature added on while at the parks. Can you do this? We still have to buy my son's (non-adult) MYW pass for the October trip but maybe we can just get him a one day MYW hopper for the March 26th trip. I'm trying to figure out what will be cheaper or will it work out to be about the same. (adding on 2 no exp. features to mine and husband's 7 day pass and buying a child's 1 day MYW w/park hopper OR just buy two adult's and one child's one day base ticket for the March 26th date.

Yes you can add non-expiration at any time -- before the ticket expires by itself. Non-expiration costs $59. for a 7 day ticket.

Do realize that, if you use one day now, you have only 6 days for October. You can stretch the usage time span a little by going to the water parks on a day you do not go into theme parks.

Can you foresee a Disney visit further in tyhe future, beyond October? If so, consider expanding the 7 day pass to 10 days non-expiring. Single, double, and triple day passes have a very high cost per day.

Avoid the 8 day non-expring pass. A one day pass for now and the 7 day expiring pass for October is better than that.

Thank you for the information. I'm thinking maybe we should just stick to the one day base ticket for each of us. There might be a $2 dollar difference to add on the no exp. and buy a child one day park hopper v. 3 one day base tickets and we'd still probably end up buying an extra day for our October trip too. It really sucks (pardon my french) that Disney didn't leave the tickets alone as far as never expiring. They still could have done MYW with all the extras such as park hopping etc. added on and not have them expire unless all days used. Anyways, we will still be going to Disney World on future vacations but just my opinion (which I know isn't worth much around here) on having to pay to have tickets not expire - it still sucks.
