Question about adding meal plans on....

When booking, does anybody get the meal plan added on? wasn't sure if this is a good deal to do or not. We were going to get the 2 meals and snack a day added with our package or should we just opt to pay as we eat? we would like to have a sit down dinner everyday so wasn't sure the way to go there. Also, if I book my hotel seperate, what about when I buy my tickets? does the price go up or stay what I can get them for in a package? it says package deal for family of 3 adults and 1 child with park hopper will be $855.00. Will I still only have to pay that price if I book everything seperate? thank you for all your help.
