We are thinking of getting an oval above ground swimming pool. But I really dont know where to start.

I know they can get pricey, but does anyone know how much cheaper they would be if we waited till the end of the summer sales, and just had it installed for next year?

Do you have the water delivered? ANd how much is the water?

Thanks for any info and advise. :flower:

When we purchased our pool it was in Feb. and we had it installed in April. We paid about $3,000, and this included the pool, pump, installation, and having someone run the electric. Plus we got the hoses and miss. stuff for cleaning the pool. I'm not sure if we paid less because it was winter or not.

We purchased our pool about 3 years ago, I live in NJ, and it was the year we were having a drought. We weren't sure if we were going to be able to fill it ourselves, but we were. We just filled it up with a garden hose. If we couldn't fill it ourselves we were going to have the water trucked in.

our 25 ft round was about the same price ( with installation) at begiuning as they were the previous fall, we used water hose and filled ours, cost us about 100 bucks in water bill.

i just bought a 15x30 pool yesterday cost me 2800 delivered.Ill be installing itmyself as they want another $1000-1500 to install around here.
