Question about AAA discounts

I want to stay at the WL in Jan and was wondering how to go about getting a package with AAA.

I know that in order to book a AAA package you have to call them directly but should I get the package now or should I just get a AAA room only?

If I get a room only res can I then change it at a later date to a package?

One last question, if I was to get the AAA package and a code came out for Jan would I be able to apply those discounts to the package?

I usually reserve what I want with an AAA room only first and wait for any other discounts or codes to come out! I can always go back and add the package if I need to without a problem but hard to get room only once you booked package.

JUst remember that AAA has a set number of packages available at each resort and once they are gone they are gone.
The same can also be said about AAA room only, AP rooms and any other discounted room that is offered.
So if you have set days and resort you want then you should do the package now if that's what your leaning toward.
But if your resort and dates are more flexable then you could wait alittle longer and see what happens.
If you book one way and want to change to something different usally you can if your not going during peak season.
