Question about AAA and planning a trip....

I'm new to AAA.... is it better to book a trip online or go into an office? Will anything be different if I go into an office?

DH and I are planning a quick trip to New Orleans and I'm trying to find the cheapest way. Never booked a trip online (other than Disney).

The one and only time I used AAA was for a Disney trip, and I found them to be more expensive than my doing it myself. What you might do is get an idea of cost by researching the major expenses on your own such as airfare, rental car, hotel, then go into the AAA office and get a price on those same things. Compare apples to apples.

I love AAA and have used them muliple times. I think the big difference may be that if you find a good agent they will find deals for you, but some are lazy and you have to prod them to get deals.

We book our Disney trips through AAA mostly to get all the extras
