Question about a Tuskar House early ADR and entry to AK

We have an early ressie at Tuskar House for 8:00 AM. We would like to drive that day b/c we are going to DTD for dinner but both me and DH read (from The Unofficial Guidebook) that the AK parking lot doesn't let people in until 15 minutes before park opening. Is that true? If so, how do people who are not staying at Disney eat breakfast at AK? If it is not true, what is the procedure for getting into the parking lot at say, 7:45?

We always drive to AK for Tuskar Breakfast and arrive at about 7:45 for Ressies at 8-8:10 and have not had to wait to get in the parking lot or wait in a line to park in the lot for that matter. Even if it was true you have plenty of time to get parked and to the restaurant.
