Question about 5 for 7

On the 5 for 7 plan can you buy the package for 2 people, if you have 3 people going? Here's the issue, I'm going to be an AP holder, but my mom and sister will not be. I'd like to get the 5 for 7 for our trip, but seeing as I don't need park tickets there's no point in adding me to the plan. Anyone know?

Everyone in the room (that you register in the room) needs to be on the 5 plus 2 plan. If you dont register yourself, you won't get a resort ID for yourself, which may prove difficult if you wanted your own room key...FYI. Good luck!

When I made my ressie for 5/7 I asked about the possibility that another adult with an AP might be joining us and they said that everyone in the room had to be on the package, that the package is figured with the number of people in the room. If we tried to check in with another person they would null the package and we would have to pay rack rate at check in.

I'm not sure if this is possible but...

Can you book the trip now and hopefully AP rates will come out allowing you to get a lower room rate? Then you mom and sis can buy length of stay passes(UPH) as guest services when they arrive.
