Question about 0% Financing on Disney Visa card

I'm a little confused about how the 0% vacation financing works, and hope someone here can clarify for me. How can I make sure I keep the 0% on my vacation while also using the card for other purchases?

Here's my scenario:

I got the Disney Premiere card when I booked my vacation back in March. Paid the $200 deposit with the card, but then got a $200 statement credit. At that time, I hadn't made any other purchases with the card so I had no payment due.

Then in May, when the Free Dining promotion was released, I switched my package to FD so had to put another $200 on the Disney card. I had since been using it for other purchases, so now my total outstanding balance includes $200 at 0% and $X at the regular interest rate.

Will I not incur any interest charges if I just pay the $X? Or do I have to pay some minimum amount towards the 0% balance as well?
My statement doesn't specify anything like this, it just says I have $200 at a 0% promotional rate and the date that that rate expires. I want to pay off my whole vacation with the card but I want to make sure I won't incur interest charges if I continue to use the card for other purchases.

In that situation, I always pay a little more than the $X in current charges. It doesn't have to be a lot more, but I'll usually round up so I'm paying a little bit on the portion that is interest-free. I think you do need to make some amount of payment to the interest-free portion. When I've done that, I've never accrued interest.

ONLY pay it after your statement hits....and then one payment. I always do a little more than the "extra" charges also. But if you have any returns or make and additional payments between billing cycles it will deduct from your package even if you have made additional charges. When I don't have a package booked I usually make a payment each week - but with a package it pays it down first with those extra payments. I'm not sure why...but I found out by it occurring so am always super careful about that now.

Thank you both! I will try paying the $X plus a little extra and see if that works. I'm trying to rack up some reward dollars to use for incidentals on our trip, so I've been using this card almost exclusively since I got it.
