Quest stroller and shade

We're still figuring out which stroller to bring on vacation for dd, 5 months. I find that the Quest doesn't seem to provide much shade from the sun. Has anyone bought an additional sun shade for this stroller?

WE have 2 Quests and love them but you will want extra shade sine the canopy isn't too big but you're in luck Maclaren came out this year w/a UV protection parasol that clips on the stroller side. That should help guard from the sun for sure!

We have a quest and we bought a ray shade. It works great! We even have one for our double stroller as we have found that no stroller really has a great sunshade.

I also have the kiddopotamus brand stroller shade. They attach to any stroller and are WONDERFUL! You can pull them out super far if you need it, covers the kids little legs which otherwise are out in the sun all day.

I have a single one for my single stroller, and a double one for my double. I wouldn't travel anywhere without them now. They also have a pocket on each side, good for holding bottles of water, sippy cups, etc. I know for me, we are always needing extra drink holders.

We have the same one for our Quest and it provides a lot of shade as agreed. But...we ended up using a blanket most of the time because once the Rayshade was on you couldn't see through the window when DS was sleeping.

I don't know where the window is on the Quest, I have a Graco Metrolite single and an InStep Safari TT double jogger, and I'm able to just quickly lift up the shade from the end nearest the stroller handle (right in front of you when you're pushing), peek under it, and see thru the window.

If the window is out further I can see how this would be harder to do.
